			Belinda Mendez- Azzollini Founder and Executive Director of Just BeMe! Mrs. Azzollini understands the struggles and challenges of growing up in a single parent home. She was able to overcome many obstacles in her life with the guidance of her mom and mentors in her life. They helped her through a very rough time in her life, the death of her father. Although life was difficult at times it’s what gave her the drive and determination to succeed and achieve, making her the woman she is today. In return she expresses her appreciation and thanks by giving back!
		She has established this non-profit because of her commitment to young people, especially in her hometown of Staten Island, New York. She has been working with young people for almost 15 years now. It has been her dream since childhood to start a program of her own where her love for the Arts could be shared with other young people in her community. When she became a Teacher and then a Guidance Counselor she then wanted to add a component, where through creative expression young people would be engaged in projects that focused on giving back to their community and making a difference in the world. She felt that young people weren’t appreciating what was really important in life! They needed to make a change in their attitudes and behavior skills in order to do so. Starting her own nonprofit would provided her with the opportunity to combine the love she has working with young people with the love she has for the entertainment industry and bring them together so that they can make a difference.
